Flight Testing
Today we did some basic flight testing and tuning of a fixed wing drone focusing on accurate loitering. The airframe tune seemed to work well. Although the wind lead to some crabbing as the plane circled the waypoint, the flight track was remarkably consistent, which is important for one of the experiments we are working on.
We are using a Matek F765Wing controller running Arduplane software. For sensors we have a Matek 880 Compass-GPS/GLONASS and a Matek digital Airspeed indicator.
